Dr. Carrie Shrader is a native of Marshall, TX. She is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin where she majored in Biology. She was granted early admission into the Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1979. Dr. Shrader has served on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Committee on Sedation and Anesthesia since 2015. Dr. Shrader is certifed in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and holds an enteral sedation permit from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Her chief concern is safety in sedating patients while providing excelling dentla care. Dr. Shrader is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Family is one of the very most important things to Dr. Shrader. She is the proud mother of three grown children–Joel Shrader, Jenna Shrader Morgenroth, and Joni Shrader–and the proud mother-in-law of Josh Morgenroth. Dr. Shrader believes that her own experience of being a mother has prepared her to work with children in ways that academia cannot. Dr. Shrader has a special love for children and a passionate desire to make them feel comfortable and have a fun, positive dental experience.
